Terms of service

1. The service

When you order, you get a personalised wedding website at yournames.saythedate.online, a dashboard to edit it, and an RSVP form with a guest list. The design, sections and options are those shown in the Etsy listing and the live example.

2. Setup

We create your website within 1–2 business days of your order and send you a login link through Etsy. If you send us your content, we add it once, within 3 business days of receiving everything (texts and up to 20 photos). After that, you can edit everything yourself.

3. How long it’s online

Your website stays online until 3 months after your wedding date, unless we agree on a later date. After that, visitors see a thank-you page and guest replies are deleted. 14 days later, the website, your photos and your account are deleted for good. Please download your guest list before your website closes. We aim to keep your website available at all times but can’t guarantee uninterrupted availability.

4. Your content

You’re responsible for everything you publish: texts, photos and music. Only upload content you have the right to use, and nothing unlawful or offensive. You keep all rights to your content; you allow us to store and show it only to run your website. We may remove content or suspend a website that breaks these rules or the law.

5. Guests’ data

You decide whom you invite and what you ask. Use your guests’ replies only to plan your wedding. See our privacy policy.

6. Price and refunds

The price is shown on Etsy and paid through Etsy. Because this is a personalised digital service, we can’t offer refunds once your website has been created. If something doesn’t work as described, tell us and we’ll fix it. If you cancel before we’ve created your website, we’ll refund you in full.

7. Liability

We provide the service with care. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect damages, lost data or lost replies, and our total liability is limited to the price you paid. Keep your own copy of important information, such as your guest list.

8. Changes and end of service

We may improve the design and features over time. If we ever have to stop the service, we’ll tell you at least 30 days in advance and help you export your guest list.

9. Law

Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Winterthur, Switzerland, unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise.
